King's Crossing Foundation....

Is a private operating foundation (EIN#26-05387951) that is dedicated to social reform and community transformation.

Nehemiah 1:4"When I heard these things, I sat down and wept. For some days I mourned and fasted and prayed before the God of heaven."

Three years ago God lead me through a study of the history of the church, the book of Ezra and the book of Nehemiah.  He took me on a journey to reveal how the church and our society came to be in its current state of fear, poverty and destruction.  Then God showed me that he had already given us the blueprint for societal transformation in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah.

Through the edict decreed by King Cyrus (changes in government and law) the Israelites were set free from their captivity (injustice and heavy burdens).  A group of people set out to rebuild the city of Jerusalem and restore the temple of God (city transformation and restoration of Christian values).  Interestingly enough all the people were free to return to Jerusalem yet some chose to stay in Babylon because they were comfortable in their captivity (as long as me and mine are okay).  The King sent them forth with everything they needed but they met much opposition and the restoration was very slow , and finally halted because of the opposition against them.  God raised up another king, King Darius, that also set forth a decree for Jerusalem to be rebuilt, the temple restored and everything would be provided from the royal treasury (those working in the market place).  The work resumed.  Then Nehemiah heard of the condition of the city and his people.  He inquired of the Lord and received approval from his employer to leave and help restore Jerusalem and the walls of the city.  After surveying the wall, he presented a plan to the Priests and Elders.  Then he encouraged the people and set them in place along the wall closest to them, merchants, farmers and others took their place on the wall and began restoring their sections.  The work was completed in record time!  Please notice that Nehemiah had no special building skills.  He was not a contractor.  He only had a heart for the people, their needs and the true desire for change. (excerpt from The Nehemiah Principle)

This is the model for King's Crossing Foundation.  We are a treasury that funds our own organizations, as well as others, to assist the workers in transforming their communities.  This foundation and the resulting non-profit organizations will be funded from for-profit businesses.  Some businesses we will operate ourselves and contribute the profit to King's Crossing.  The rest will come through other businesses that choose to have a part in the transformation of their cities!  This helps to ease the burdens of community minded non-profits and government organizations by creating revenue generating businesses that give a portion of their profits to support their community.

The book "The Nehemiah Principle" has been published and is now available through www.publishamerica.net/product87483.html  or   www.amazon.com

Mathew 26:42-43;45 "For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me."  "He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'"
